Well the slab of plastic does seen to have all but grown up?!

I must admit to being somewhat surprised at the pictures I have seen if the upcoming games console! It is very stylish to the point that it is the first gaming console I have actually thought "I want one!"

The Kinect looks very cool too as well as sounding like it is a big improvement on the first instalment. However I am surprised as I did think that this would be built into the console itself. But then this could have had its own problems I suppose with placement of the console itself I'm the optimum location could be tricky in certain situations.

Still it has taking Microsoft the attempts to produce something oozing cool let us how it is quiet too?!

Let us also hope that there are no shenanigans like the Windows refusing to cone out and play when LINUX is around?!

SKYRIM TEAM MOVE ON TO BIGGEST PROJECT YET?!

This is exciting news too, and with Thief returning too it is an exciting time for me.

Will be even more exciting if I can build that rig I though I would start building 8 weeks back, still better late than never, as long ias it is not TOO LATE, LOL.

Now I am not sure about how things are done at Bethesda and I am not sure of this means that they are now working on an Elder Scrolls VI or a Fallout 4?!

I get the feeling they have two teams one for each series but I could be wring and I have not had time to reasearch many things, and therefore make money, becase the UK government or SERCO, take your pic, are taking up much of my time with the reasn behind it that I do not work.

Still in-between wondering whether I will sort this out and if not whether I will be homeless first or starve to death, I do find periods to be excited even if I cannot do the research I need to do, lol.

I did have this theory that there would be a flurry of activity on games that will increase once the word was out that we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on the Playstation 4 and XBox 720?! Indeed it may well be that this activity has been ongoing for awhile now and that they could not let that out of the bag as people may guess it was for the next generation consoles?!

I do sometimes wonder whether we should read words like 'are' and replace them with 'have' or 'have long since now', lol.

RETURN OF AMD & THEIR FX & CRYSIS 3 IT SEEMS

Well, well, well!

I am now reading very different things about gaming on AMD FX CPUS and even reading good things about the AMD FX-8350 based on Piledriver?!

So it seems this sudden complaining about Steamroller not coming out until 2014, complaining about AMDs demise and the fact that nVidia allowed SLI to be setup on AMD mobos and you can see all the ingredients actually cooked something up?!

It is funny as I did actually think this so was suprised somewhat when it did not seem to materialise. I then realized that there must be something up with the coding with both games and these benchmarks. This become really obvious when some came out with the AMD CPUs racing away with certain things....

...sorry all you idiots that liked to complain and laugh but if a Processor is CRAP then it is CRAP. It is not extremely good at a few things and then crap at the others unless something else comes into play.

Also you were banging on, supposed to be gamers, about a few FPS hits in games that were old or current or in other words you were going to see no bloody difference discernible by the human eye. Oh big WHOOP! I, on the other hand, did try to tell many n different forums that it is about what happens with the next generation of games and not that your mate has an FPS that shows ten less more than your 250! LMAO!

The Frames Per Second in this game chews up and spits out all but the most expensive Intels. Now I am even reading of Intel fanboys now crying foul and crying out for the Intel CPUs to come down and to release a more powerful and PROPER EIGHT CORE CPU?! WAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HEHE!

Oh my god it is sooo funny! Especially when I was reading that Intel had some hardware issue with their Haswell CPU, in case its bad I did NOT design it despite having the same NAME!!

Yes Haswell as some isue or other and Intel basically told the partners and customers 'SUCK IT UP BIATCH!!'

Oh dear that was not nice. The sad thing is if the sizes of these two switched tomorrow the situation would be EXACTLY the same only the names would be switched.

So you see we need them BOTH to exist but with a more level playing field and out of the burning remnants of AMD's ashes they rise up swooping all consoles up in their path and now, unless your a complete moron, every gamer on the PC is going to now realise that ALL FUTURE GAMES WILL BE MUCH MORE OPTIMISED FOR BOTH AMD's CPUs and GPUs!!

This means that everyone who has gone out and bought a HIGH END INTEL PC GAMING RIG in the past year is going to be chewing their fingernails, soiling their underwear and eating the HUGE receipt for their rig! LMAO!

I am particularly glad that this has happened to the deserters that went over to the dark side but made lots of noise and stated inflammatory comments along the way. Oh and that IDIOT on YouTube that everyone thought funny. Now he just looks like a stupid chump! LMAO!

ALTERNATE WINDOWS GAZE INTO THE FUTURE

Well I forgot to add something to the last post and thought of some more points to make.

I do not like Windows 8.

It seems from something I was reading neither do Valve?!

I had though after all this time that I would finally have to make the leap over to a Linux Operating System and that as it had been 15 years since my last skirmish, and believe me it WAS, with Red Hat that now things would have been greatly improved.

So imagine my utter shock when what should have been a pleasurable experience taking minutes has turned my grey and taken 24 hours only to hit a brick wall?!

I would not mind but this. it turns out, was the brilliant and stable version out of three when the other two were referred to as catastrophes?!

WORRYING!

I also thought that Microsoft would meander off in other directions now and from what I read, WINDOWS BLUE, this certainly looks to be the case.

It is also of concern that they obviously do not care otherwise Valve would not have got as far as releasing Steam for the Linux OS!

Well I can say for certain that I know damn well what Steve Bullmer is doing and that is what he always does goes where the scent of money is. Only on THIS occasion it is going to backfire and in all honesty it will be down to one thing and one thing only that decides if Microsoft will still exist in its current form, Steve Bullmers madman antic aside....

...that is the NEXT XBOX?! (the 720?! ZBOX?! XBOX NEXT?! NEXTBOX?!)

They are going after the tablet market and smart phone market but in all honesty they have pretty stiff competition that is already established and STRONGLY in an industry that is a passing phase and will drop of considerably in time. Before people start saying nooo I did not say disappear I said drop off. Just like PHONES DID, just like SMART PHONES DID, just like iPhones now have and just like ,COM!

Cannot see the business for the money!! LMAO!

Yes that makes sense, leave an industry behind that you had tied up for years but losing your marbles with it of late and go sprinting, remember Microsoft's SIZE, after something else others have become establish in and have a firm foothold because you think theirs cash to be made and/or you just want to destroy any competition you see as a threat to your dwindling market share?!

Now while they were pre-occupied doing this Linux could have swooped in from the skies taking all in its path! Well not on what I saw in the last 24 hours I am afraid and what with this laptop not exactly new or state of the art that is worrying!

Fifteen years ago if you even have brief thoughts about Linux you had better hope nothing in your hardware we less than a year old. Less than 6 months and you had better forget it.

The sound was fine and to be honest there were NO graphical issues so not quite sure WHAT was going on and WHY it failed to do so many things...

...but this laptop I bought over a year ago, was not by any stretch the fastest available and ex demo that had been there a fair old while.

Ubuntu should have, and I fully expected it to, been moving so fast that time would appear to be going BACKWARDS?!

Unfortunately it did not! :(

NOW! While I was typing and posting both the last post and now this one my videos of what was happening, DUMB-ASS, I mean NOT HAPPENING are being uploaded to my YouTube account. This curious to see what was going on, puzzle solvers like me, can go and have a look see when they are done, likely tomorrow.

As much as I love puzzles I do not have the patience I once had to sit around for days on end figuring this one out. I have far too money other things going on to boot but that IS slowly changing.

So for now the videos are up for your enjoyment or curiosity and Ubuntu will sit there on my hard drive with the static gathering dust on that portion of the spinning discs, lol.

Well unless I come across or it occurs to me out of the blue (which does happen from time to time) how to fix it?!

PARALLEL PROCESSING GAMES TO EMBARRASS FANBOYS BIG TIME STYLEE!!

I was reading about the AMD Jaguar chip to be found inside the new Sony PS4 and the XBOX when a couple of things occurred to me!

First off there was all this talk when Bulldozer released form so-called gaming experts about ho there are NO games that use more than a core or two for processing and how HARD it is to do this.

I pretty much knew the first one was not true though admittedly these were minimal in numbers. I ALSO know that the SECOND ONE was not true and the number of times I wanted to join up to a website just to go onto a clicky forum of armchair experts to explain to them in the most POLITE way that they were talking nonsense, oddly enough most of them stupid enough to own a Core i3, but thought better of it as the word TROLL will just be banded about like women at a wedding with far too  much confetti!

No the reason I now realise that there are is not much parallelism in games is because of one thing and one thing only...THE EXISTENCE OF CONSOLES?!

Or in other words so PC Gamers can get an excuse when really there are being ripped off for ported games?!

FOUL! That is what I hear them crying out at the top of their lungs at my use of the words rip and off but it is and no matter which way you slice it that IS what it is. Another bunch of cash for a game yu have already created and you do not want to be bothered doing it all over again for the PC! But you want the same amount of cash coming in though?!

Then while I was reading and trying to figure out exactly what this confusing AMD Jaguar is, my money on TWO PROCESSORS SIDE BY SIDE AND CROSSFIRE like they did with the twin socket FX boards a few years back, I realised that this is all about to be proved of course!!

Whether it is ONE Jaguar processor or TWO side by side make no nevermind. It has eight cores and THAY WILL USE THEM, or its a complete waste of money building the things based on a processor with that much silicon.

Now according to the armchair afficiandos a Core i3 would have been perfectly adequate?!

According to Custom PC your only processor is an Intel one?!

I have long since complained about this and even emailed these experts who sale a magazine based o building PCs prmarily for GAMING.

Well now I find it really bloody hilarious as I have been proved that had a bought into a subscription to Custom PC I would have wasted my money and been ripped off as...

1) Games will be PROGRAMMED from now on on BOTH CONSOLES, if not ALL THREE, for not only AMD Processor cares but for PARALLELISM and ...

2) AMD's GPUs too?!?! IN CROSSFIRE POSSIBLY?!

3) GPU Cores also used for parallelism?

Oddly enough I used to find this a bit annoying when Intel fans went on about this with their nVidia cards. Run down parallel processing when talking about AMD's FX chips but talk it up when talking about your nVidia cards?

Really funny. I think some people and even forums should be banned for being stupid or just contradciting, whichever is a better fit for the annoying ones, lol.

Now to all the AMD people, plus the ones that took the piss, cried like babies and yelled like demented Banshees and went over to Intel and paid three times as much for their processor with a board they will then have to replace a year later and nVidia Graphics when they are too focused on tablets...

I think its bloody hilarious, really I do! So much over the top shit about AMD on websites, forums and even YouTube!! Loads of these moronic idiots how now managed to be shown up as the IDIOTS THEY ARE by none other than the very corporation they lambasted for the longest time, AMD!!

That is soo funny and i cannot help but wonder how long it will be, if indeed it has not even started, when the AMD fans will be going on-line with the Panzer-Fausts (flame throwers) and scorching the chat rooms and forums and toasting the Intel camps to the walls?!?!

I might give it a week or two for this knowledge to suddenly occur to them get posted and then goes around like wildfire?!

Well that is unless of course though are just so much the experts they are now lambasting both Sony and Microsoft for using two year old technology and know better ate doing these things than the big guns do themselves?!

I have to admit that even I did not see this one coming, a GRAND SLAM across the board on the console games with both CPUs and GPUs for AMD?!

You think now that this might have been their plan all along?! Now a few interesting points to watch out for over the next 12 months, or 6 months into the release of the consoles...

1) You think now this MIGHT have been WHY they bought ATI in the first place?! 

2) Do you think it entriely possible that while Intel were overcharging you for crippled processors AMD WAS INDEED concentrating on gamers but NOT bringing out the all killer AMD FX everyone wanted and producing better APUs to get into the console machines?!

3) Do you think it possible that before very long PC gaming will improve dramatically, including even with the porting, and that this was down to AMD's APUs being in the consoles and therefore you will have AMD to thank for this?

Yes I now realise that the next 12 months are going to be extremely interesting, extremely exciting and EXTREMELY FUNNY!!

PS4 & XBOX 720 REVELATIONS

Not my rumours you understand but those of others and along with comments I have seen made by some that were wrong and a bit silly but I will just run through what I understand at present, before diving in a bit deeper.

As far as I am aware both consoles, Sony PS4 and XBOX 720, are going to be remarkably similar in their chips and power.

As far as I know there is talk of 8 cores in the CPU side and AMD Radeon at least for the PS4 but what I cannot fathom for sure is exactly what the GPU specifics are because everyone is speaking about the CPU like it is a single 8 core unit and they call it Jaguar. As far as I know the only 8 core CPUs that AMD produce are BULLDOZER, PILEDRIVER and the next iteration is STEAMROLLER between late 2013 and early 2014!

SO what is this other EIGHT CORE CPU?

Well I would wager that if it IS eight cores then they are using TWO CPUs?!

If so then the graphics chip version everyone is talking about may actually have TWO?!

I say this because I have seen many people disappointed while others reply to that disappointment by pointing out quite correctly that the PC is built VERY differently and that it has to cater for a hungry horse of a Windows OS and many other programs, stand alone or background, simultaneously.

The odd thing is I had long thought that the sensible route for both the PS4 and the XBOX would be the dual APU route. Lower power, twice the graphics and proper x86 cores all developers are familiar with. You know it makes sense?! Now I wonder if that is indeed they route they have taken.

Now this leads me onto the other thing that has disappointed people in that they have stated that they can get more graphical power from a PC?! Umm well that has always been the case when these things are released mate! But it never seemed that way because PC games players are short changed by the game developers and I really DO mean that. PORTING is a lazy and greedy way out. It is almost like selling only square pegs to everyone despite whether or not they have square or round holes...ALMOST.

No what happens is that when the new consoles and games come out, and largely what i have been waiting for for over a year now, is that then these games show us PC users, or at  least those of us with the knowledge, exactly what the SLI system we have now owned for a year is capable of?! Well maybe owned a few months unless you are water cooling, lol.

No so I think when launched and tested along with a handful of games I think it will be no different to all other launches and wow factors, I really do and then I and other PC gamers will be salivating and eyeing up that dinghy to wade through our gooey living rooms wondering when these titles, and other developers, get their releases out to us?! Funny they always talk about how can they are and want to push the envelope of the technology but they do not really. Or at least a VERY tiny fraction of games developers do with Bethesda being, or at least so it appears, being the only one I can think of.

Then I go and get bloody annoyed with them and email them tearing crap from them because I put up videos up of me playing parts of Skyrim, which is currently frustrating to achieve, more so to upload and then I am told off for monetizing the video, so people clicking on adverts I get tiny payments for and they do not like it?! Jesus Christ man sort out your god damn copyright and stop appearing to be run by a bunch of blood sucking vampires bleeding people for money for the same old thing over and over again....or lawyers, lol.

If I do a video of me gardening I do not have to pay Draper, or me using Office i do not have to pay Microsoft, or me using laptop I do not have to pay HP. You get free advertising of your product, especially as I show laptop users what they can and cannot get away with and I get refused permission?!

Well let us see how that pans out for you?! lol.

Anyway I now am very keen to see these things launched and even pictures of thie things would be nice despite me not going to buy one and never owning one, except a PSP when it launched. It is interesting to see the designs and you never know they just might bring out something and with such a fabulous design, well yes they have been crap up until now and really should take a gander at the dozens concept designs from fans out there as their are some damn good one, that will make me want to buy one?!
