Well once again the writing was on the wall on this one!

It seems rather apt that this story is running when I am about to have a showdown with Microsoft?!

Well I how I am not but if the antics I get up to on my corruption blog are anything to go by I don't have a wall without worrying on it!

I recently built a budget PC and a very budget gaming PC, of you leave out certain ... peripherals that is!

I decided upon Windows 7 Professional as opposed to Windows 7 Home Premium, which I technically already own the licence to from my HP laptop!

Now as I previously stated I was not going to buy Windows 8 for the obvious reasons and the same ones many others do bit use it. It has not escaped my attention that Windows 8 sells fur surprisingly little money and I thought this would be a bonus as Windows 7 Professional would be very good value, a rare thing to state with anything created by Microsoft who got used to charging big numbers fur things that stinky was not worth it and grew to unprecedented proportions on now more than a handful of products. Some of these products steering to have very good alternatives appear for free if charge?! From one extreme to another then and I am bit fully comfortable with either one.

I found a company claiming to be selling Windows 7 Professional for a reasonable £45 and I thought what good value this was but though I liked Windows 7 to look at it was not without it's ... issues. In fact when I received my copy it was causing my problems from day one thigh it was awhile before I realised it was Windows doing dinner very of things without actually asking me or even warning me?! As I had still to acquire all the hardware it did not occur to me about the thirty day, or whatever it is, period. I also know that Windows gets a bit iffy about you changing or adding too much hardware to prevent someone from selling the licence on to someone else! Now where have we heard that before?

I never got all the hardware in time before the thirty days expired where I was immediately greeted with a message stating my copy of Windows was not genuine?! I contacted the seller on Amazon and received an email from Amazon stating they were sorry but he is not with them anymore?! He sold a fair few of these and when mine turned up it stated 'Dell' on the disc and I should have raised that selling this foot may have been ... iffy. But purchase of a licence is purchase of a licence at the end of the day and I am sure Microsoft do not send these things out for free!

So I had to have another go at Amazon for this counterfeit issue is their issue and they should be responsible ... STOP, NO! THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE! THE END!

We cannot see whether something is counterfeit or not and Amazon have no problems taking money fur counterfeit goods which the last time I looked was illegal in the UK.

I then clicked on the Microsoft button about the validity of the disc and they asked for me to fill in a form about where I bought it. They stated that if I did I would then receive a pack, complimentary, to turn my iffy Windows into a legal one! So I did it and it was like pulling teeth as the software refused to let me continue unless I provided all data in the fields! Any idea how hard it is to get emails, phone numbers and order details from a site like Amazon? No they do not and they all seen to be totally unaware that they all do the exact same thing in burying these details separately being many pages, if they provide it at all?!

To prove this point try to find an email to Facebook on their site?!

Any hoo I managed to acquire all the data, except the fans product key as I have admiringly mislaid it! Well I do have Fibromyalgia, it is on a ridiculously small piece of paper considering it's cost and they do insist in that annoyingly short and crap activation period!

Now I have to post the damn thing of to Dublin in the Republic of Ireland which one again mashes things difficult because it is not in the UK and make me wonder why they do this?! What Microsoft so not have a headquarters anywhere in the United Kingdom? So I cannot use the myriad of postage stamps I have here and since it in a post box and have to take it in a post office!

Now that I have no teeth left these tossers really need to change their tactics and not do everything based on everyone ends doubt things as they should when they themselves do not!

What made me laugh is they gave me the option to pay for it online but the price was the time that I paid for my copy?! Greedy bastards!

Mr Microsoft when something is old it reduces in price, not a little but a lot! I recently purchased Crysis 2 and 3 for £8 and although this was ridiculously cheap, leaving side that everyone says the third one is crap, you get where I am heading!

Well they would do this if it were not for the fact that they are trying to force people into buying Windows 8, not good, not clever and I feel an anti trust lawsuit conning in again?!

Or added to this they know kept ate still buying Windows 7 which is why the price is barely any different from Windows 8?!

I have been around computers since Windows 3.1 and moving to Windows 95 and I can tell you that there had not been a time when the prices of the new OS, remember it's on third or more version, is similar to that is the now very old one!

From being stupid, arrogant, over confident and the focus of an ex military man concentrating on shepherding users so they can spy on them, bullying others of the paying field and systematically destroying the company Windows 8 would never have happened!

If so then neither works my current predicament as I have never purchased the old OS for a PC before ... EVER!

Crap mobile phone OS's which restricted it's users fat, far more than its desktop software does and your just providing the longest nails for your own coffin. Simply have not accepted that petiole are doing things better, cheaper and even for free they persisted with their arrogance typical of Steve Ballmer and his twat like attitude.

Quite where they all fit the idea that they were untouchable and they could never feel ... I simply do not know? Whether this is from the military or not it was simply shockingly arrogant and would end in years eventually. The only thing of interest would be works they realise and have the time to out the brakes on, turn around and get the other way?

Did they really think that in the entire planet that another group of prior could not outdo them?

Well the link below sees them go against their own predictions after buying Nokia and they now minuscule 14% share in the operating system market is beginning to show the first signs of rot!

The question remains has the rot now spread too far? Well we will see if the last nail required for them will be brandished by their own hand in any discussion we have over my current predicament and the new Window really needs to be perfect and sooner instead of later!

Though as it states that 18,000 jobs are too go at Microsoft it does not look good and it matters but where the jobs are going. It is not so Nokia and around 6,000 odd going at Microsoft itself.

Anymore between now and Windows 900 coming out and the death throws will not be far behind, I fear?!

THE WINDOWS 8 WINDS OF CHANGE

Today I completely forgot about something I wanted to post about.

This happened to my surprise and in my local PC World store as I was checking stock while feeling quite nauseous not realising my keys were in my bike lock 500 yards away and forgot completely when I had an argument with one hell of a brain dead, complete brain wave inactivity that would make an Ant chuckle that finally had it slip my mind.

The funny thing is this also cane about because I was checking something else, their computers and laptops. I had been finding it off that long after new chips were announced I would wander in to use their store as a yardstick to see if things were finally in sale in the UK.

This was a ... mistake. So much so I stated to check mire regularly fur completely different reasons.

I am about to describe an extreme example of what I was researching.

I have, for those that have missed it, a new PC. The CPU I chose was something referred to add an APU, or Advanced Processing Unit so called because the integrated ever more powerful graphics chips into the silicon. The first couple of iterations of this idea were fairly good but with the third one things suddenly feel into place and became interesting.

The chip I used is called the AMD A10-7850K and was launched on 24th January 2014. Ever since this date I have wandered into anywhere that sold computers and wandered past them quickly looking at the CPU/APU used. No, no, no, no, no ... was always the way it went.

A couple of weeks back I built the system I now very much fancied building. I have been filming myself building it, have filmed it running, played various games on it and still have several to do.

I noticed some time ago that PC World was bit getting in models with new chips just released in fur a very long time afterwards. Even just new models were taking months to appear!

As I posted about just prior to this one I was on my bike on my way home from a friends and was fed up with PC World not sorting out the refurbished, or second hand, keyboard they sold me I later found out from a very, very stupid and completely rude gentleman they had not a single one left in stock and not getting anymore in. Lucky I one of know how I am going to resolve the issue but not stating how. They have now done themselves out of several sales I intend to turn into thousands is sales. In fact I was intending to buy two things in there this week I dotted in store but now won't. I also won't ever be entering a PC World sure and will return to what I advised petiole fit over ten years ... DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM PC WORLD ESPECIALLY ANYTHING WITH THE ADVENT NAME ON IT.

I trust you noticed I bought 3 Advent Tegra Note Tablets recently and had to take 5 of them back?!

If not I will let you set back and try to fathom out how the weird mathematical problem I just hit you with can actually happen.

I digress.

I went looking for anything they had that had one of the new AMD KAVERI chips in especially as a couple of weeks back they announced ask the laptop chips.

Of the roughly ten chips now available how many did I spot? I did see several new machines that were not in there previously and thought I was going to see mitre than half a dozen?

None! Zero! Nada! Nil! Zilch!

Weird! Not so weird if you realise they are a megastore that simply sells refurbished and section hand goods as brand new for to money. Of that the things that they can devalue they have done in the UK while the one thing they cannot had risen in price exponentially, or at least feels like it.

Your energy prices. You can't buy that used!

Odd then that the few spending money keeping the economy crawling along are the ones paying the most fur it without realising it. Well not all do not realise obviously and I believe it's because of the even bigger idiots that are also wusses that are too blame for just letting them get away with it ... POLITICIANS!

I digress.

But there is a point to it! As I was walking around I prices a laptop that had Windows 8 desktop on it that looked a little different than before. I checked it out noticed the little Windows icon where the Start Button used to be and had a play around.

Better! Bit good enough but a lot better than before and I realised while tinkering around that this could not possibly be Windows 8 and must be one of the update ones. A quick check and sure enough it was Windows 8.1.

Now I know there have been a couple of updates and I fight they were 8.1 and 8.2 but I did not nor have not paid attention. I only need to see the comments and bottom line statements from the usual suspects I sort of trust and I jog on. I kind of expected this version to state 8.2 and when it did bit I wondered if I remembered wrongly and maybe this was 8.1.2, well you get the idea?

Still if there was yet another iteration I am at least niue half interested in taking a look at this!

Yes I cannot quite believe I stated that but I am still certain it will be a not far enough statement?!

Microsoft have made bad choice after bad choice over the Steve Ballmer years and had this been a much smaller company with much less wonga it would be dead in the water lying on the sediment in the bottom, make no mistake.

Microsoft may turn out to be one if these things, and a fecking big wake up call to bit only the American military but all intrusive power mad militaries that if you meddle where your big fat red nose dues bit belong not only can it backfire, not only can you systematically destroy something that was a worldwide household name but you can end up actually forcing that you were claiming to prevent?! After all could you imagine the Chinese conning up with a version of Linux really easy to use, everyone supports including all the genes companies and Steam OS turns out to be self obsessed bloatware?!

Dumb ... Arse ... Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Still it might not happen and they won't look like the biggest folks on the planet?!

If Microsoft was to collapse then they would have done some serious damage that week reverberate through history. Good knows how many people will be out of work. Good knows how many of them will have to leave the country to find similar pap?!

Well the meddling military state they did this 'for their country' which essentially is there people. They may even use the line 'for their people' but niue that they have ended up doubt the exact damage hey claimed to be protecting their people from week they then put their hands in their pockets to repair what they did?

Will they hell!

At this point they will show to the world that their idea of people is a very small network of friends, mainly those wanting to run around the worked buying up all businesses or running them out of town!

Maybe, just maybe everyone will realise that the American government's and their military's idea of friends is a very strange, limited, worrying and extremely dangerous and damaging one?!

Ooh that would not be good! Not be good at all!

I for one cannot wait for Windows 9, because they cannot take the chance and it simply had to be brilliant! It must be brilliant and had to be a 'you simply have to own me' product!!

If not we will be stepping back a couple of paragraphs and living though that possible outcome! But hey they will be an upside! ...

Governments will finally realise that they cannot influence, lure to the people, manipulate us like we are all twats without our own minds, even if the larger percentage currently ... or was! They will realise that they cannot get sections of society hero bent in facts, science, for other sections of society hell bent on falsehoods and manipulations of innocent petiole to sir their own narrow minded views of the world, religious fruitcakes no doubt?!

Funny how sections of society so intended and forceful about being right when they are so obviously wrong may finally have to gave the ultimate truth? If Microsoft does fail at least I have the ... FALLOUT from that as entertainment?!

I will stick with Windows 7 Pro even if it did a couple of things from day one that drive me up the wall! Ooh and then there is that annoying message but cannot find a single link to it anywhere ... yet. Don't comment starting the obvious they have verb done. I would have to check via another way watching each thing load and check ... ooh I just remembered how I find out ... I am a dumb arse ... err ooh crap that's not easy to find and I cannot remember what is called! Hmm its in administrative tools ... Hmm, lol!

Ooh yes I can't sleep despite no caffeine, did fair bit of cycling today (9 miles) and no getting up late either! Hmm something else ... oh yes n Restless Legs Syndrome ... ooh wrong blog, lol. The health aspects are meant fur the corruption blog, lol.

THE DUMB OPERATING SYSTEMS

I think I am going to walk away from Google's Android Operating System. It just seems to be slowly becoming a horrible place to be!

As some of you know I bought three Advent Tegra Note 7 Tablet PC Computers. One for me and two on behalf of friends as presents for their two girls. Well I already had to replace one of the two given for a new one which were given out as Christmas presents and now I have the second one in my home and I will be exchanging it when I return it tomorrow?!

Starting to wonder now when my one will give up the ghost?!

But regardless of this nor peering on my mind I am having other issues!

Google Play has gone from being interesting and exciting to browse to a pain in the arse I really am getting more and more feed up with using!!!

First of all there are an absolute myriad of shit on their and I do mean shit! I have list count of the number of things I have downloaded that do not work, nothing like their description and died not do what it says on the tin!! Then there are the fecking games that are just plain greedy and preying on that gaming urge that is a primary instinct in us all! In app purchases is what I am getting at!

That is of course after all the utter shite you click on because the picture looks cool, mainly suggesting a first person shooter with console class graphics, only to see the screenshots and think ' what the FECK is this shit, it looks like the old days of 8 BIT gaming?!'

Of course yeah that is why I searched for something with an nVidia Tegra 4 processor so that I can play 1980s games and gear up the planet with all the wasted extra power?! Lol!.

I also got a an App Shifter and that is what it is actually called, unless your looking at it on Google Play then it's called something fecking else entirely. I moved a few dozen apps including some big games. Only lately I have been clicking in things and being told it is not installed?!

This happened with an app I bought, OfficeSuite Pro, because Quick Office is now crap because Google got ahold of it and I paid a tenner fit that too!! Only I have just realised that my documents in this app are NOT BEING SAVED TO GOOGLE DRIVE?!

For the love of a fecking GOD!!

Then tonight I realised that my new game I was playing of GT RACING 2 (real racing it states) had also give missing?! I then opened App Shifter only to click on SD Card apps to see just TWO!! TWENTY TWO would be closer!!

Then there is the game itself, ever since I bought something IN-APP things went downhill... FAST!!

I ended up with a Toyota GT85 II. Only straight away I was having difficulties and found that I had to drift to stand any chance of going around a bend and stating competitive with race leaders!! I thought that maybe some upgrades would since this. This was also because other cars were rounding bends perfectly level and without drifting! I ended up maxing the upgrades to the car without realising and things remained the same. Also despite being maxed out I was being offered upgrades before each race?!

Also I was seemingly spinning out each time someone touched me which was not happening to them and added to this they were never spinning out. Then there is the old positions remain the same syndrome within the race energy your the only one ever doing any overtaking or even being overtaken?!

Another common thing is never getting higher than 8th after several attempts on one track and then getting first in the next race at the first go?!

Some tracks feels as if my tyres are manufactured using ice while others not quite so bad. Maybe cardboard, lol.

The last updated, like the other two, have made absolutely no fecking difference to Android and added to this the swipe keyboard is still substituting words whereby you got it spot on but it offers you not only the WRONG WORD but often not even one that starts with the same letter?! You know the...letter...that... you... touched... on... first... which... you... would... not... make... a... mistake with!!!

If your going to scree up the coding at least get the wetting word that starts with the correct letter for Christ sakes?!

If I was Eric Schmidt and I had some Android OS as a business solution I would be crapping my pants right about now!!

So I am getting extremely feed up with Google and Android.

Only the alternatives are crap!

Sorry Apple I know you would like many to think that your system is great but that it's not doing well because the rest of the world is voting and infringing, but no!

I simply never realised just how bland the iOS was until I had a few weeks to mess around with one. Also I hate iTunes as it is also bland and on Windows it is good awful slow! Mac OS is much better as an OS to look at and use!

Maybe Jason Bradbury was not plugging Microsoft's Surface 2 dye to sponsorship?

But then where Google and Android have a problem with being far too laid back and open Microsoft are the polar opposite and doggedly sticking to their closed system which would not be that bad if not for preventing a number of other people coding browsers for their system!

My mate had the options of IE and UC?! No Safari, Dolphin, Chrome, Firefox or any others either.

So one choice is far too bland and boring added to way over expensive in Apple.

Another is far too awkward, butt ugly and closed system with not many apps or choices with Microsoft.

Lastly you have far too many choices, too unstable, far too many so issues and lazy or incompetent coding with Google.

Now what annoys me is that any one of these could read this and realise that they could alter their system to stand head and shoulders above the other two?!

However I will wager that they won't!

Or maybe one of the many others I have been hearing about will rise like a Phoenix from the flames and keep above the other two?!

If it is the latter paragraph I got they then do not just become the fourth arsewipe in a long list of arsewipes?! If it is greedy shareholders that come along then suddenly decide that they know better than the inventors... well get them to read this oust and I will tell them to shut the feck up and go back and crawl under the rich from whence they came!

In the meantime I can only hope that things improve and I suspect now that it just might be the big 'M' as they are already working to replace the travesty that was Windows 8, with Windows 9 of whatever it ends up being called?

WINDOWS 90 ANNOUNCED

Oh stupid me I added a zero...or is that I forgot the decimal point? Lol.

I just noticed that at the bottom of the page to words saying 'Top Stories' but I hit the link button within the Flipboard app. Sorry if it not working but seems to be the app not actually doing what you ask it to do, finding it a real pain in the posterior if I am honest and may go back to Pulse, which is the linked In News app.

The trouble with News apps you would have to be extremely short sighted to just have the standard apps to the usual suspects. it does not matter that your a Tory or a Labour supporter as the name of thew game these days is to lie, set up a false image intentionally and chose NOT to report on real people that shows you the truth but instead go chasing around after celebrities and turn yourself into a gossip programme over time.

I prefer to use an app that brings you stories from a number of different sources and mainly those that are none of the big names except for The Guardian and the Independent. Possibly The Telegraph too.

Now back to the subject that the link below is supposed to take you to!

It seems that there is going to be yet another version of Windows and I had to chuckle a bit over what it stated as it said that Microsoft want Windows 8, all of them, to be like Windows Vista whereby they got it wrong. Well that is that they did it twice! At least.

Whether or not its an official name the new Windows is being called Windows 9 in the report and I am not sure what it is with American big businesses as they seem to either go with odd numbers or even numbers to get it right. Well I say that as a bit of fun poking at what they used to say about the Star Trek films whereby it was a joke that it was only worth going to the cinema to see the even numbered films. Well except my least favourite ones were number 4. Umm and err....Generations was a bit disappointing, whatever number that one was. The one with God in it was not all that either, lol.

The trouble is for Microsoft is that they doggedly refuse to learn from their mistakes. They think that trend setting comes naturally because they are so big a company but it does not. In fact they have single handedly almost destroyed the PC industry and I think now there will be a big turn around because of Valve and their Steam OS. In fact it would NOT surprise me one bit to discover that Microsoft are now being motivated to get off their arses because of Valve?!

There was also no way you was going to earn from charging way to much for an Office Suite and now they want a monthly fee? They are lucky that most people simply do not realise that most Office programs are compatible with Microsoft's Office and they are free. Even on Windows you can get Open Office and even on Android there is Quick Office, Documents to Go, Smart Office and many others besides.

There are some silly headlines too about Sony's PS4 crushing Microsoft's XBone in sales but this is greatly exaggerated but even so....they will not want Sony to go running away with sales and the gap to start increasing. Oddly the sales are going just as I thought they would. Personally I like the look of the XBox and its connect gadget but the PS4 has more power. The funny thing is that I have from the beginning found their hardware to be somewhat strange! There are EIGHT CORES on the CPU side and the gaming side they have a single chip?! Four CPUs and 2 GPUs would have been perfectly understandable and quite expected.

So it remains to be seen whether or not the graphics on the two next gen consoles ends up being quite underwhelming or if PC Gamers crowing about frames per second have been spending several hundreds of pounds on hardware when the game developers have been coding like crap when it comes to the PC?! Lol!

I think it will be one very interesting year this year for a whole heap of reasons.

You know there us this real funny thing with Operating Systems, maybe its just me being SILLY, but upgrading to the latest one can sometimes....well you know...have drivers and software that are up to date and stable that can cute previous problems which if what I was hoping for! Dumb-arse, lol.

Funny how people think themselves really intelligent but react on one single post our one single video and even s glimpse at my profile would have strongly suggested there was more to this.

But then he probably belonged to one of those extremely sad and clicky groups that think full comers are inferior?!

Lol, they do they really do! They all live in these Internet Relay Chat rooms and anyone that enters they do not know is instantly labelled: noob, idiot, without grey matter, unable to add up, does but know how to used a keyboard, does not know what OS stands for. Ooh OK so I exaggerated a little bit there...

I BROKE UBUNTU

Well after three says if messing around with UBUNTU I have broken it.

The last two attempted boot upes have failed and freezes on the screen that is all purple and says Ubuntu with the little dots and does it right after the little drum noise it makes.

Indeed it had stayed on that screen the whole while I have been typing this on my faulty smart phone lol.

Unfortunately I have finally decided it comes off. These Linux people really should keep abreast of what their creation works with and does not and issue warnings as should thre magazines.

In fact Computer Active only stated there were issues reported with Windows 8. You would think that worth only two companies producing GPUs that they would all get to hear of issues?! Especially when there us all this error reporting parts of operating systems theses days.

Cine to think if it I don't think the Windows error retiring ever really did anything other than make users think the next version would be really ace. Oops, lol.

Right I have forced a power off now and booting into Windows. A shame that and really frustrating as I thought I had it sussed a few times only to break it completely.

I will have to remove it now to regain the 19GB I awarded it. I think in future I will not bother with LINUX unless I have a complete list of compatible hardware so u can build a rig for it.

Waaaaah! SOB SOB!! Really liked it and wanted to use that SMS really depressed it went the way it did.

I do not have the time to spend days on ends trying to get it to work I'm afraid do it gets ignored now for a few months.

ALTERNATE WINDOWS GAZE INTO THE FUTURE

Well I forgot to add something to the last post and thought of some more points to make.

I do not like Windows 8.

It seems from something I was reading neither do Valve?!

I had though after all this time that I would finally have to make the leap over to a Linux Operating System and that as it had been 15 years since my last skirmish, and believe me it WAS, with Red Hat that now things would have been greatly improved.

So imagine my utter shock when what should have been a pleasurable experience taking minutes has turned my grey and taken 24 hours only to hit a brick wall?!

I would not mind but this. it turns out, was the brilliant and stable version out of three when the other two were referred to as catastrophes?!

WORRYING!

I also thought that Microsoft would meander off in other directions now and from what I read, WINDOWS BLUE, this certainly looks to be the case.

It is also of concern that they obviously do not care otherwise Valve would not have got as far as releasing Steam for the Linux OS!

Well I can say for certain that I know damn well what Steve Bullmer is doing and that is what he always does goes where the scent of money is. Only on THIS occasion it is going to backfire and in all honesty it will be down to one thing and one thing only that decides if Microsoft will still exist in its current form, Steve Bullmers madman antic aside....

...that is the NEXT XBOX?! (the 720?! ZBOX?! XBOX NEXT?! NEXTBOX?!)

They are going after the tablet market and smart phone market but in all honesty they have pretty stiff competition that is already established and STRONGLY in an industry that is a passing phase and will drop of considerably in time. Before people start saying nooo I did not say disappear I said drop off. Just like PHONES DID, just like SMART PHONES DID, just like iPhones now have and just like ,COM!

Cannot see the business for the money!! LMAO!

Yes that makes sense, leave an industry behind that you had tied up for years but losing your marbles with it of late and go sprinting, remember Microsoft's SIZE, after something else others have become establish in and have a firm foothold because you think theirs cash to be made and/or you just want to destroy any competition you see as a threat to your dwindling market share?!

Now while they were pre-occupied doing this Linux could have swooped in from the skies taking all in its path! Well not on what I saw in the last 24 hours I am afraid and what with this laptop not exactly new or state of the art that is worrying!

Fifteen years ago if you even have brief thoughts about Linux you had better hope nothing in your hardware we less than a year old. Less than 6 months and you had better forget it.

The sound was fine and to be honest there were NO graphical issues so not quite sure WHAT was going on and WHY it failed to do so many things...

...but this laptop I bought over a year ago, was not by any stretch the fastest available and ex demo that had been there a fair old while.

Ubuntu should have, and I fully expected it to, been moving so fast that time would appear to be going BACKWARDS?!

Unfortunately it did not! :(

NOW! While I was typing and posting both the last post and now this one my videos of what was happening, DUMB-ASS, I mean NOT HAPPENING are being uploaded to my YouTube account. This curious to see what was going on, puzzle solvers like me, can go and have a look see when they are done, likely tomorrow.

As much as I love puzzles I do not have the patience I once had to sit around for days on end figuring this one out. I have far too money other things going on to boot but that IS slowly changing.

So for now the videos are up for your enjoyment or curiosity and Ubuntu will sit there on my hard drive with the static gathering dust on that portion of the spinning discs, lol.

Well unless I come across or it occurs to me out of the blue (which does happen from time to time) how to fix it?!
